I picked this 1 for the fact I think this tells the story How God' cares for his people. And if you Be-live this is what you'll get for believing Matthew 5:3-19 Blessed are they who are poor in spirit. For theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, For they will be comforted Blessed are the meek For they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful for they will receive mercy. Blessed are the pure of heart for they will see God' Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called the children of God' Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad for your reward is great in heaven Amy have a few more that I think follow this 1 should i send 1 @ a time? |

Why I Became Ordained
My name is Rev. Connie R Wagar.
Thank you.
I was first led to your site by a friend in AZ who wanted me to marry him and his soon to be wife. The problem was the relatives of these tow were a mix of religions. The couple were young Pagans. One set of parents were Mormons, and the other Methodist. Many other relatives varied from Baptist to Catholic. The couple wanted a service that did not bring disharmony to anyone if possible. They wanted to include their own vows as well as more formal "sounding" vows, excluding the use of Jesus's name. This called for a complete new written vow set for them. (and this was my first wedding). Need I say panic set in, and I sat for days writing and re-writing the new vows. In the end I had a completed set of two different ceremonies and set of vows.
I also incorporated the families in the service, letting them know the new marriage would not succeed if the families were not supportive of the couple and their wishes.
At the completion of the services, I had several family and friends walk up and say they loved the service, and never once did I break with the wishes of the couple and it seemed no one had realized I spoke of "their" god and blessings and guidance, but never once brought ANY specific religion into the service. IT was lovely, and of the 150 people present not one complained about the service.
Weeks before the ceremony I had queried the couple to see how dedicated and serious they were. I offered advice to them and reminded them to never go to bed angry. To remember it is all an uphill trip that cultivated in what energies they would put forth into it.
More services followed and all were required me to write services dedicated to the couples style of life, and many had to be tailored to the different beliefs of the family's. I now find myself pleased to have brought these folks to the beginning of their new journeys and hope they find life together a success.
I also have had the sad duty's of being there for folks who were in the process of passing. One instance was with a client I was with as a caregiver for. The lovely lady and her husband were German and Lutheran.
The husband was aware I was not of their faith, but had seen the sticker in the window as Minister. The visiting Nurses had a woman who was a Chaplin trained in many religions and had been called. The phone rang and we found she was not able to get there through traffic and the husband looked frantic. HE took my hand and asked if I could help her to find the Lord. She needed last rights.
I happened to have my formal ministerial clothing in the car and some of the books from your offices. The husband followed me in to stand with her as I did as he asked. She knew me as a caregiver and smiled. I had nearly finished when the Chaplin arrived, I offered to give way to her but she shook her head and took the woman's other hand as I spoke and guided her to her to the hands of her Lord.
She smiled and her husband took the hand from the Chaplain. HE also took my hand with tears as she passed with a smile and such peace.
I checked on him a few days later and he invited me in. We sat and talked, and he thanked me for what I said and how I did the service. And then he smiled, and said she knew I was Pagan he told me though I had Never told her. HE said it was what was in my heart that had taken her "home" and with that I wiped the tears from my eyes and hugged him as I left.
That was why I became ordained.

Universal Life Church & Common Sense
Obituary printed in the London Times - Interesting and sadly rather true. Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: - Knowing when to come in out of the rain; - Why the early bird gets the worm; - Life isn't always fair; - and maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).. His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realise that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust, by his wife, Discretion, by his daughter, Responsibility, and by his son, Reason.. He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights I Want It Now Someone Else Is To Blame I'm A Victim Not many attended his funeral because so few realised he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing. |

“Loving Reiki"
Or Confessions of a Reiki Therapist
*******************************
Or Confessions of a Reiki Therapist
As a Reiki practitioner and teacher for the past ten years, I have had the absolute joy and pleasure of experiencing the remarkable results of my clients healing and recovery from both chronic and acute illnesses. I have been blessed and witnessed many miraculous outcomes.
The healing capacity Reiki energy possesses is as infinite as our human minds can create or imagine. The energy comes from the universal source of pure love. I don’t know of anything pure love cannot heal, do you?
When I practice Reiki I am graced with the delight of being a conduit for this beautiful, immeasurable, light and love passing through me to the person I am laying hands on or sending energy, too!
My own personal healing from Reiki took place ten years ago. I had been in a five-year long divorce battle that threatened to alienate me from my children. I was traumatized, emotionally and spiritually blocked. I was stuck and suffering. I tried many traditional modalities to help me heal to no avail. I then received a few Reiki treatments and attunements. Immediately, I felt relief. My path opened as the Reiki energy flowed through me. The blockage that was preventing me from moving forward in my emotional and spiritual growth was removed. I was able to really love again. The Reiki healing allowed me to open my heart and forgive. It is the tool that assures my peace of mind and stability are here to stay.
Healing is to be shared and I want to share some remarkable healing results Reiki energy has produced. The following are several accounts of my Reiki healing experiences with several clients below who have generously agreed to tell their own Reiki healing story.
Client Case #1
Brenda Generali brought me her newborn son Joshua born with birth Palsy (or Brachial Plexus) due to complications during the birth and as a result Joshua’s entire right arm was paralyzed. After three forty-five minute Reiki treatments Joshua regained eighty percent of his range of motion and feeling back in his arm and he continued with a full recovery and complete use of his arm. I taught Brenda Reiki 1 so she could continue to give Reiki treatments to her son, too!
Brenda Generali’s testimony:
I had heard some years prior to the birth of my son that Reiki could heal tissues through energy so I made an appointment with Therese Johnson. I took Joshua to Therese six times for reiki treatments until we were told that Joshua would not need surgery and that he would have a full recovery. I think that without Reiki Joshua would have had to have tendon transfer surgery at Shriner’s hospital and he would not have normal movement. Brenda Generali 2003-Colfax, CA
Client Case #2
JS came to me for Reiki treatments to relieve the side effects of seizures he was experiencing in his brain due to brain cancer (the same kind of brain cancer Senator Kennedy is currently battling) When I would lay my hands on JS head I could feel the seizures but within ten minutes of administering Reiki energy to his head the seizures would stop completely.
JS testimony:
As a five-year brain cancer survivor Therese Johnson’s work has been instrumental in my successfully fighting the side effects resulting from past surgery treatment. Johnson has helped me greatly in dealing with the fall-out from surgery, chemo and-particularly-radiation. JS 2009-Auburn, CA
Client Case #3
Joseph M. had been suffering from bi-polar manic depression. He had been self medicating with methamphetamines for twenty years. This behavior had terrible results including time in prison. He was forty years old and wanted to heal, to be released from his dependence on drugs and to experience real health. I gave Joseph a one-hour Reiki treatment and his desire to take methamphetamines completely left him. I have no words to describe what occurred during his treatment. I was in absolute awe of the changes that took place and the healing power of Reiki. The changes in his energy field were immediate as the Reiki energy flowed through. He was ready to heal and he did.
Joseph M. testimony:
I have been clean and free from a methamphetamine twenty-year drug addiction for eight years now ever since I received a Reiki treatment from Therese Johnson that helped me remove my desire for methamphetamine’s.
Joseph M. 2001-Auburn, Ca
Client Case #4
Jean Harmon Testimony:
Therese Johnson treated my hypertension with Reiki energy. When we started it was 200/89 within twenty minutes it was reduced to 132/79. Amazingly, the severe headache that came with the elevated numbers and high blood pressure also disappeared.
Jean Harmon 2009-Auburn, Ca
As a Reiki practioner and teacher I have treated hospice patients eliminating their pain and need to be on heavy doses of morphine for anywhere from 24-72 hours with one reiki treatment. This allows for great relief not only for the patient but also for the family so that they can spend quality time with each other with the patient being able to be cognizant of his surroundings and family. Once the patient’s pain is controlled there is peace. Everyone relaxes when the patient is comfortable. I then show the family or caregiver how they too can continue to give Reiki energy, allowing them to become active participants in comforting the patient. It is a beautiful process that takes the fear and stress out of ones transition.
I teach Reiki classes to individual caregivers and Residential Assisted Living Community Caregivers so they can ease the suffering of seniors. Reiki has proven to be of enormous help in alleviating Alzheimer’s dementia behavioral problems. For more information see my article on “Treating Alzheimer’s with Reiki” on my website at www.reikimastertherese.com
Currently, I am focusing on offering Reiki to our young soldiers returning home from war who are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. Reiki is excellent in aiding in the recovery of post-traumatic stress.

Why I Became Ordained
Storybook project
For Jo Anne and Robert Mauck going to prison has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of their lives.
Granted, the Maucks weren't behind bars for committing a crime. The members of Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Damascus, MD., have been volunteering with The Community of St. Dysmas, a congregation within the Maryland correctional system. St. Dysmas held its first services in the state's Correctional Institution for Women in 1985. The Maucks attended their first service in 1989. And earlier this year, Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich honored their volunteer efforts with a certificate of appreciation. "I will never forget the date we first went because it was my birthday," JoAnne said. "My husband said, 'You don't want to go down there today.' But I said, 'I think God wants me to skip this dinner and do this instead.' "
From that first visit, the Maucks knew that this was a calling for them. "This work is mandated in Matthew 25," Robert said. "As well as directing us to visit those in prison, it says, 'Just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did to me.' That's exactly how I feel."
JoAnne concurred: "If I hadn't been lucky enough to have family reach out to me when I was young, I don't know where I would be today. There but for the grace of God go I. So I try to offer the same kind of help. And the truth is I have learned so much from these women."
After weekly services, the Maucks visit with the prisoners. They also help lead Bible study classes and offer to help inmates find a church when
released.
Robert, who has served on the Prison Congregations of America advisory board for 10 years now, said the recidivism rate for inmates involved in this type of ministry is only one-quarter as much as those who don't.
"Just being there and talking to them, it helps so much," JoAnne said. "It's important to show that there are people who care."

Why I became Ordained
I became ordained because there was something inside of me that said I should help other people realize their spiritualism without the confines of being associated with an organized religion.
Tolerance for all beliefs is the key to true peace and spiritualism may come in many forms. Doing that which is right is an excellent motto to live by for anyone and I do my best to spread this message. Whether you believe in God or gods or an order in the universe or whatever it might be that helps you to center yourself in life.
All should have an open mind and respect that others might not feel the same way as you do, but that there is nothing wrong with what is spiritually important to you and how you feel about it and express it. Live and let live.

Why I became ordained
Well I can say this. I became ordained through ULC because:
1. It is a lot easier getting credentials from ULC and you do not have to build a church immediately.
2. I do most of my preaching in Nightclubs. Flogger in one hand Bible in the other preaching The Word of God in BDSM Nightclubs. How I got the nickname the Evil Wicked Cardinal of Evil.
3. I have vast knowledge of The Bible and know where most of the relics are which are described in the Bible.
4. I love a good debate on religion. I never lost a debate yet. For it is the individual on how they interpret The Bible.
5. I go to religious seminars where my vast knowledge improves religion. And, I talk on my own experiences.
6. ULC is the best place to start as an ordained minister. But, when you preach never implement ULC in any way shape or form. I never tell anyone about my credentials with ULC. I let my knowledge of The Bible do the talking.
7. People ask me where I became a Minister. I say four words. "It was my calling." Why say where you became a Minister. You build a church and call it ULC for instance it is not connected with ULC HQ. It is your church and do not break the law or implement ULC HQ in any way shape or form.
8. All ULC HQ is vouch that we are ordained ministers. Other than that you are on your own. So be smart and use The Bible. It is a powerful weapon.
9. Do not think you can evade IRS just because your a Minister. Because Churches and Ministers do get taxed. But, I do this volunteer and I accept no donations. It is Volunteer Work for me.
So; one thing always preach The Word of God, that is why we became ministers. And, teach others our religion.
